Biswajit Patra has been appointed as Head Chef of Riverside at The St. Regis Goa Resort. In this role, Biswajit Patra will lead the culinary direction of the resort’s signature Pan-Asian restaurant in Goa, overseeing menu development, kitchen management and curated dining experiences.
Leadership Role at Signature Pan-Asian Restaurant
Riverside, known for its Pan-Asian offerings, will now be led by Biswajit Patra, who brings over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality. His culinary foundation spans Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines, supported by technical precision and disciplined kitchen execution.
At The St. Regis Goa Resort, Biswajit Patra will be responsible for menu innovation, operational oversight and the design of bespoke culinary events tailored to the property’s guest profile.

Career Across Leading Luxury Hospitality Brands
Prior to joining The St. Regis Goa Resort, Biswajit Patra was associated with ZLB 23 – Modern Japanese at The Leela Palace. His professional journey includes assignments at Mikusu – Pan Asian at Conrad Bengaluru, Edo – Japanese at ITC Gardenia, and Zen – Pan Asian at The Leela Palace Bengaluru.
Across these tenures, Biswajit Patra developed a reputation for precision-driven sushi craftsmanship and a measured approach to ingredient sourcing. His work reflects an emphasis on sustainability and locally sourced produce, integrated into contemporary Pan-Asian presentations.
