Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City has expanded its dining portfolio with the launch of The Roof – Asian Bar & Grill, a luxury rooftop destination that brings Asian fire-cooking and contemporary nightlife together in the heart of the city. Launched on 7 January 2025, the new venue is positioned as an elevated social and culinary experience overlooking Bengaluru’s skyline.

Located high above UB City, The Roof offers a refined open-air setting anchored by a striking rooftop pool and uninterrupted city views. The space has been designed to balance sophistication with energy, creating an atmosphere suited for intimate dinners, social gatherings, and celebratory evenings. The rooftop layout allows guests to engage with the city’s rhythm while enjoying a relaxed yet vibrant dining environment.
Asian Fire-Cooking with a Contemporary Lens
The culinary concept at The Roof draws inspiration from Japanese robatayaki, celebrating the drama and depth of Asian fire-cooking. The menu presents layered flavours and modern interpretations, beginning with fresh starters such as Baby Spinach Gomae and moving into inventive small plates including Cold Tofu Tacos, Korean Chicken Wings, and Lamb Bulgogi Tacos.
The robatayaki grill forms the heart of the menu, featuring grilled selections such as Portobello, Sweet Potato, Prawns, and Chicken, prepared using traditional Japanese techniques. Main courses include Chicken Curry, Yaki Udon, Ginger Fried Rice, and Grilled Seabass, while desserts conclude with the signature Matcha Tiramisu, offering a contemporary finish to the experience.
