The Fern Hotels & Resorts has opened Siddharth The Fern – An Ecotel Hotel in Jalna, its 40th property in Maharashtra, the hotel group said. The 74-room hotel is its fourth recent addition in western India and strengthens the company’s regional presence.
The hotel comprises 74 rooms and suites appointed with warm interiors and modern amenities to serve business and leisure guests in one of Maharashtra’s emerging commercial centres. Located in the city’s central district, the property positions itself as both sustainably designed and connected to regional transit, Khatirdari restaurant, Saanjh bar, and a dedicated VIP lounge.
Jalna, with its growing prominence as a business hub and its deep historical roots, presents a compelling destination for both corporate and leisure travellers. Siddharth The Fern, Jalna represents our ongoing efforts to bring purposeful hospitality to regions that are emerging as important economic and cultural centres.” He added, “This hotel has been envisioned to meet the evolving needs of the modern guest while adhering to our brand’s core commitment to sustainability and service excellence. – Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director of The Fern Hotels & Resorts
Guests at Siddharth The Fern can dine at Khatirdari, a strictly vegetarian multi-cuisine all‑day restaurant. Saanjh, the bar, offers artisanal cocktails and premium spirits in a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel further includes a private VIP Lounge available only to resident guests and offers round‑the‑clock in‑room dining—including a specially curated night menu.
The venue features multiple banquet options: Rangat and Taraana indoor halls, as well as Aamantaran, a large open‑air lawn. Together these venues are designed to support events ranging from business meetings to celebrations. Leisure amenities include a swimming pool, a fitness centre and a children’s play area.
Aimed at both corporate and leisure travellers, Siddharth The Fern leverages eco‑sensitive design principles as part of The Fern’s Ecotel brand ethos. Early communication described the new hotel as blending “modern hospitality with sustainability in the heart of Maharashtra’s growing business hub.”
With this opening, The Fern adds to its existing hotels across Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad—many of which have been launched in partnership with local developers and hospitality investment firms. The Jalna launch follows a recent period of rapid growth for the chain in urban and semi‑urban centres.
Kannampilly said the brand views Jalna’s business and cultural profile as key to its expansion strategy in the region. The hotel is pitched to serve the city’s rising demand for high-quality accommodations and midscale luxury offerings. He said the property was conceived to offer “purposeful hospitality” anchored in the brand’s vision for sustainable, service-led guest experiences.
