Sushma Shetty Appointed Cluster Director of Talent & Culture for Pullman Dubai JLT, Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate, and Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate
Accor has announced the appointment of Sushma Shetty as Cluster Director of Talent & Culture for Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate, and Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate.
Shetty brings over 17 years of experience in Dubai’s hospitality industry, having held senior HR leadership roles at Hyatt and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Known for her focus on employee engagement and development, she has built a strong reputation for creating inclusive and performance-driven workplace environments.
Experience and Career Journey
Before this appointment, Shetty served as Cluster People & Culture Manager at Accor Hotels, Dubai Deira Waterfront and Gold Souk District, where she managed HR strategy and operations for multiple properties.
She began her career as Human Resources Coordinator at Hawthorn Hotel, Deira, later joining IHG as HR Executive. After nearly two years, she moved to Mercure Gold Hotel as Assistant Manager – Human Resources. She then progressed within Accor, serving as Talent & Culture Manager before taking on a similar role at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Hotel & Convention Centre Dubai.

Leadership Vision at Accor
In her new role, Shetty will oversee all aspects of People & Culture across the three cluster hotels. Her focus areas include employee learning and development, workplace engagement, and reinforcing Accor’s people-first culture across teams.

Accor continues to expand its operations in the UAE, now managing over 85 properties across the country. The group recently strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of Dubai’s Creekside Hotel, reflecting its ongoing investment in talent and growth across the region.
