The Fern Hotels & Resorts has appointed Sumer Rathore as Operations Manager at its Kanpur property, strengthening the hotel’s operational leadership team.
Sumer Rathore brings over a decade of hospitality experience with expertise in hotel operations, food and beverage management, restaurant operations, and guest service excellence. In his new role, he will oversee day-to-day hotel operations with a focus on service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Prior to this appointment, Sumer served as Food and Beverage Manager at The Fern Jaipur – An Ecotel Hotel, where he was responsible for leading the property’s food and beverage operations and enhancing guest dining experiences.
His elevation reflects the organisation’s focus on recognising internal talent and creating growth opportunities for hospitality professionals.
Diverse Hospitality Experience
Before joining The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Sumer was associated with Radisson Blu Jaipur as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, where he gained valuable experience in upscale hospitality operations.
His career also includes more than four years with Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur as Restaurant Manager and an earlier stint as Assistant Restaurant Manager with Royal Orchid Hotels.
Adding international exposure to his profile, Sumer spent close to six years with One&Only Resorts in Dubai, building expertise in luxury hospitality and guest engagement.
