Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts has expanded its North Goa portfolio with the opening of Sibaya Courtyard by Stone Wood Premier, a 40-room hotel in Calangute. Developed in partnership with Sibaya, the property is the second hotel under the Sibaya portfolio, with Stone Wood providing hospitality management and operational expertise.
Located in Khobra Vaddo within the Baga–Calangute hospitality market, the hotel is around a five-minute walk from Tito’s Lane and provides access to both Baga Beach and Calangute Beach. Despite its central location, the property is positioned away from the busier stretches of the neighbourhood.
The opening reflects the hospitality sector’s continued participation in latest hotel openings.
Sibaya Courtyard Opens in North Goa
The hotel offers 40 rooms across three categories: Deluxe Rooms with Balcony, Premium Rooms with Balcony and Pool View Rooms with Balcony. All rooms feature private balconies.
The property is designed for independent leisure travellers, families, small corporate groups and social gatherings, combining access to North Goa’s tourism and entertainment district with a more private setting.
Dining and Leisure Facilities
Sibaya Courtyard features a swimming pool, an air-conditioned multi-cuisine restaurant with a bar and an open courtyard café. The property’s courtyard and open social spaces provide additional areas for guests to relax.
The design incorporates tropical influences inspired by its Goa setting, with the colour palette, décor and bedroom wallpapers reflecting the destination. Private balconies and the courtyard form part of the property’s overall design approach.
Meeting and Event Space
The hotel also includes a 1,507 sq ft conference and banquet hall with capacity for approximately 80 to 100 guests. The venue is designed for small corporate meetings, private functions and social celebrations.
The combination of accommodation, dining and event facilities allows the property to serve both leisure demand and smaller-format corporate and social events.

The opening of Sibaya Courtyard by Stone Wood Premier expands the Sibaya portfolio, which began with Sibaya Beach Resort in Morjim.
For Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts, the property adds another hotel to its North Goa presence. Established in 2017 and based in Goa, the company operates 16 properties across destinations including Goa, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, offering boutique stays with accommodation, dining and leisure facilities.
