Radisson Hotel Group has announced the grand opening of Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, a landmark property set amidst the scenic National Golf Brussels course, just 15 minutes from the vibrant city centre. This is the brand’s second Radisson Collection property in Belgium, highlighting its commitment to delivering thoughtfully designed spaces and curated guest experiences in Europe’s most dynamic destinations.
Nestled in a lush, green landscape, the hotel seamlessly blends modern architecture with natural elegance. Designed by renowned Belgian architect Olivier Dwek, the interiors reflect a refined aesthetic with organic materials, soft earthy tones, and intricate craftsmanship. Wooden staircases, warm finishes, and contemporary detailing create a calming atmosphere while establishing a connection to the surrounding terrain.

The property features 150 guest rooms, including 30 suites and 12 junior suites, many of which boast private terraces overlooking the expansive golf course and rolling hills.
Guests have direct access to an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Bruno Steensels, stretching over 6 km. For both beginners and seasoned players, the club also offers practice areas, putting greens, and a compact six-hole course, making it a premier destination for golfing holidays.
For relaxation and fitness, guests enjoy full privileges at David Lloyd Sterrebeek, a nearby wellness centre featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fully equipped gym, tennis courts, and a variety of fitness classes.
The hotel caters to corporate and social gatherings with eight meeting rooms, a large divisible conference hall, and a rooftop venue that provides panoramic views of the golf course. With a capacity of up to 380 seated guests, it’s ideal for everything from business summits to weddings and private celebrations.
The on-site restaurant, Stoke Grill House & Brasserie, curated by designer Will Erens, offers an inviting dining experience with a stylish bar and outdoor terrace. Open to both residents and locals, it serves an inspired menu for leisurely lunches and intimate dinners.
Landscape architect Bas Smets has crafted a design that harmonizes the hotel’s surroundings with open green spaces and locally sourced materials. In a first for Belgium, the property introduces geothermal heating and cooling, supported by a network of aquifer wells and water-to-water heat pumps. This system ensures high efficiency while significantly reducing environmental impact.
The launch of this property comes at a significant moment, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of Radisson Hotel Group’s global headquarters in Brussels. As the only major international hotel group headquartered in Belgium, Radisson continues to contribute to the local economy while expanding its global footprint.
With its exceptional setting, innovative design, and responsible hospitality practices, Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, is poised to become a new icon for leisure, business, and event travelers seeking an unforgettable European experience.
