Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu has announced the appointment of Rabin Ranabhat as Director of Sales, reinforcing the hotel’s commercial leadership as it continues to strengthen its market presence in Nepal’s evolving hospitality landscape.
With a career rooted in Hyatt’s ecosystem and a progressive trajectory across sales, events and client engagement, Rabin brings a strong understanding of both brand standards and local market dynamics to his new role.
A Career Built Across Hyatt and IHG Brands
Rabin began his hospitality journey in 2016 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, where he worked as a Guest Service Associate. During this phase, he developed a strong foundation in guest engagement, service delivery and team coordination, gaining early exposure to Hyatt’s operational culture.
In 2018, he transitioned to Crowne Plaza Kathmandu–Soaltee, joining the team as a Crowne Meeting Executive. In this role, Rabin sharpened his expertise in client relationship management, event planning and MICE operations. Over the years, he progressed through key leadership roles at the property, contributing to business development and strengthening relationships with corporate and event clients.
In 2023, Rabin returned to Hyatt Regency Kathmandu as Associate Director of Events, where he played a critical role in driving event revenues, managing high-value accounts and leading teams across banquet and event operations.

Driving Revenue and Market Growth
In his new role as Director of Sales at Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu, Rabin will be responsible for leading the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy with a clear focus on revenue generation and profitability. His mandate includes developing and executing sales plans, managing commercial teams, setting budgets and securing business across rooms, food and beverage, and events.
He will also focus on market analysis, contract negotiations and client acquisition, while ensuring strong alignment between guest satisfaction and revenue performance. By leveraging data-driven insights and relationship-led sales strategies, Rabin will work towards achieving revenue targets across all hotel services.
