Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach has appointed Worakarn Singha as Executive Sous Chef, adding his culinary operations experience to the resort’s food and beverage leadership team.
Known as “Bon”, Worakarn brings nearly 20 years of hospitality experience, including roles with Marriott International and resorts across Phuket. His background covers culinary operations, food safety, cost control and culinary team development.
This appointment supports Marriott’s organisational growth, contributing to hotel appointments.
To Support Culinary Operations
In his new role, Worakarn will support kitchen operations, menu planning and culinary team management at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach.
His responsibilities will include assisting with daily culinary operations and maintaining food quality and safety standards across the resort’s kitchen functions.
Brings Nearly 20 Years of Hospitality Experience
Worakarn brings close to two decades of experience in the hospitality industry.
His career includes experience with Marriott International as well as resort properties in Phuket, giving him a strong understanding of high-volume hotel and resort kitchen operations.

Throughout his career, Worakarn has developed expertise in culinary operations, food safety and cost control.
He has also worked on team development, supporting the performance and coordination of culinary professionals across hotel and resort environments.
