Novotel Guwahati GS Road has appointed Pallavi Das as its new chef de cuisine, the hotel announced, strengthening its culinary leadership with a seasoned professional known for her creativity and dedication to quality.
Das brings over a decade of experience in Western cuisine, combining classical techniques with modern presentation to craft refined dining experiences. She began her career in 2011 and has held roles at leading hospitality brands, including Eros Hotel (aligned with Hilton), ibis Aerocity Delhi, Novotel Kolkata, Courtyard Marriott Bangalore, Holiday Inn IT Expressway, and Courtyard Marriott Chennai. She also gained international experience with a tenure at Shangri La Barr Al Jissah in Muscat, Oman.

Most recently, Das served as sous chef at Courtyard by Marriott Chennai. In that position, she managed kitchen operations, upheld culinary standards, and coordinated teams under the executive chef. She holds a culinary diploma in food production and patisserie from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi, and earned a bachelor’s degree in home science from Handique Girls’ College, where she was a department topper and silver medallist.
