EIH Limited, the flagship company of the Oberoi Group, has announced plans to open four new properties across India as part of its growth strategy to operate 25 hotels by 2030. The expansion includes two Oberoi Hotels & Resorts locations and two Trident branded properties in key regional destinations.
The upcoming portfolio includes:
- The Oberoi, Gir, a 20-key luxury wildlife retreat set within a 40-acre mango orchard near Gir National Park, home of the Asiatic lion.
- The Oberoi, Hyderabad, a 220-key property located in Knowledge City, a major commercial district in the city.
- Trident, Nandi Hills, a 150-key Trident hotel nestled in the scenic Nandi Hills, north of Bengaluru.
- Trident, Fort Aguada, a 170-key property situated near the historic 17th-century Fort Aguada in Goa.
Our growth trajectory is driven by a clear strategic focus: expanding into high-potential markets, delivering authentic and memorable guest experiences, and upholding the service philosophy that defines The Oberoi Group. As we broaden our footprint, we remain anchored in our core values of excellence, integrity, and care. – Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group
Our development strategy is shaped by deep consumer insight, a sharp understanding of market dynamics, and a steadfast long-term vision. As we open new landmark hotels and earn continued global recognition, we are deeply grateful for the enduring trust our guests place in us. The group stated that these new developments fit within a broader growth pipeline that already includes existing properties and upcoming openings, aligning with the goal of achieving 25 properties by the end of 2030.
The Oberoi developments include both flagship and Trident brands, enabling a diversified portfolio that caters to ultra-luxury and upper-upscale segments. The Oberoi, Gir and The Oberoi, Hyderabad represent high-luxury retreats with strong regional appeal, while the Trident properties in Nandi Hills and Fort Aguada offer upscale experiences in leisure-focused markets.
Gir National Park remains a sought-after wildlife tourism hub. Hyderabad’s Knowledge City is an emerging business enclave. Nandi Hills draws leisure travelers from Bengaluru, and Goa continues to attract both domestic and international tourists. Analysts note that blending branded presence in these markets may enhance guest reach and financial yield.
With this announcement, Oberoi Group reaffirms its positioning as a leader in Indian hospitality development. Emphasizing measured expansion into strategic destinations, the group aims to uphold curated service standards while enhancing its brand presence across investor and guest landscapes.
