Madhusudan Kumar has been appointed Food and Beverage Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Goa–Panaji, bringing more than 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality operations.
According to the hotel’s LinkedIn announcement, “With over 13 years of experience across leading hospitality brands like Accor and Hyatt, Madhusudan brings a strategic vision, strong operational acumen, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Recognised for his ability to drive service excellence, craft distinctive culinary concepts, and lead high‑performing teams, he is poised to elevate our F&B offerings with a unique blend of global standards and local flavours.”
Kumar said, “I’m thrilled to join DoubleTree by Hilton Goa – Panaji at a time when the food and beverage landscape is ripe with opportunity. Kumar previously held management positions at Grand Mercure Mysore, Novotel & Ibis Bengaluru, and Hyatt Regency Mumbai, where he focused on revenue optimization, service innovation and quality assurance. His professional background includes building high‑performing teams and launching differentiated dining concepts that align with brand and business objectives.
At DoubleTree by Hilton Goa–Panaji, Kumar will oversee all dining venues, banquet operations and bar services. He will also manage menu planning, event catering coordination and integration of Goa’s coastal cuisine into guest experiences. Service standards, team development and guest satisfaction will be key priorities.
DoubleTree by Hilton Goa–Panaji is situated along the Mandovi River and features 160 guest rooms and suites. The property includes an infinity pool, full‑service spa, fitness centre, kids club and multiple dining venues such as an all‑day restaurant, a signature restaurant and a lobby lounge.
His appointment comes at a time when the leisure hospitality and food and beverage segments in Goa are experiencing evolving guest preferences. Kumar’s mandate is expected to support the hotel’s focus on elevating service delivery, curating memorable dining offerings and reinforcing its competitive position in the region.
