Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of two new properties, Lemon Tree Resort, Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh and Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhilai in Chhattisgarh. Both hotels will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary. The signings reflect Lemon Tree Hotels’ continued focus on expanding its managed and franchised portfolio across destinations that combine leisure appeal with growing commercial relevance.
With these additions, the brand deepens its footprint in South and Central India, aligning with its strategy of entering markets that show steady demand across tourism, business travel and destination-led stays.

Lemon Tree Resort, Bapatla
Lemon Tree Resort, Bapatla will be located in the coastal town of Bapatla, a destination known for Suryalanka Beach and its relaxed seaside setting. Planned as a calm beachside retreat, the resort is positioned to attract leisure travellers seeking short breaks, extended holidays and destination events along the Andhra Pradesh coastline.
The resort will feature 90 rooms supported by a restaurant and bar. It will also include banquet and meeting facilities, allowing it to host social gatherings, celebrations and small corporate events. Recreational amenities will include a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre, designed to support wellness-focused stays and extended leisure travel.
The Bapatla signing adds to Lemon Tree Hotels’ growing presence in Andhra Pradesh, a state that continues to attract domestic tourism across its coastal, cultural and urban centres.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhilai
Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhilai will be developed in Bhilai, a city recognised for its strong industrial base, planned infrastructure and green spaces. The hotel is positioned to cater primarily to business travellers, visiting professionals and guests associated with the region’s industrial and commercial activity.
The property will feature 72 rooms, along with a restaurant and banquet and meeting facilities. Additional amenities include a swimming pool and spa, supporting both short business stays and longer visits. With this signing, Lemon Tree Hotels makes its entry into Chhattisgarh, adding a new state to its operational map.
The Bhilai hotel is expected to serve as a reliable hospitality option for corporate travellers while also supporting social events and local functions.
