Davanam Sarovar Portico Suites Bengaluru has appointed Kashif Masood as its new general manager, the hotel said Monday. Masood brings over two decades of experience in hospitality operations and leadership, having held roles across top brands both in India and abroad.
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Masood has previously worked with Jaypee Hotels, Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, and Radisson Hotel Group. He also gained international exposure during a multi year assignment in East Africa. Most recently, he served as operations head at Radisson Blu Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru—a property within the Sarovar Group—before his elevation to general manager at the Davanam property.
Known for his hands on leadership style and commitment to guest satisfaction, Masood has built a reputation for team building and operational expertise, particularly within Food & Beverage.
“Taking on the role of general manager at Davanam Sarovar Portico Suites is a privilege and a responsibility I value deeply. My focus will be on building a culture of accountability and genuine hospitality, strengthening the hotel’s market presence, and creating long term value through thoughtful leadership,” Masood said.
In his new role, Masood will oversee strategic direction, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence across all hotel functions. He is also expected to mentor staff and foster strong relationships with guests and stakeholders.
The appointment is part of the hotel’s strategy to reinforce leadership at its flagship location in Bengaluru and to enhance guest service standards in a competitive Indian hospitality market.
