JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has appointed Sameer Bhargava as Director of Food & Beverage. He brings 18 years of hospitality experience, including 12 years in food and beverage leadership across luxury hotels, dining formats and markets in India.
In his new role, Sameer will oversee the hotel’s restaurants, bars, banquets and in-room dining operations. His responsibilities will include developing food and beverage offerings, enhancing guest experiences, strengthening operational performance and supporting the development of F&B teams.
The addition aligns with Marriott’s leadership strategy, reflecting leadership appointments in hospitality.
To Lead Food and Beverage Operations
Sameer will oversee the day-to-day food and beverage operations at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, covering its restaurants, bars, banquets and in-room dining.
His mandate will include developing dining concepts and offerings while working with culinary and service teams to strengthen execution, guest experience and business performance across the hotel’s F&B operations.
18 Years of Hospitality Experience
Sameer joins JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu from The Leela Palace Chennai, where he served as Director of Food & Beverage.
At The Leela Palace Chennai, he managed a seven-venue operation with responsibilities spanning culinary initiatives, menu engineering, talent development, strategic partnerships and business performance. His work also included developing initiatives across the social, entertainment and luxury segments.
Experience Across Multiple Dining Formats
Earlier in his career, Sameer worked across luxury hospitality properties in India, gaining experience in fine dining, all-day dining, bars, banquets and in-room dining.
His professional background includes managing diverse restaurant formats as well as large-scale in-room dining operations, giving him exposure to different aspects of food and beverage management.
Sameer has also completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 course, adding to his knowledge of wine and beverages.
Developing JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu’s Dining Operations
At JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Sameer will focus on strengthening the hotel’s food and beverage operations while supporting the continued development of its restaurants, bars and dining offerings.
His experience across luxury hospitality and multiple F&B formats will contribute to the hotel’s focus on guest experiences, operational consistency and team development.
