ITC Hotels has announced the launch of its 30th Welcomhotel, the 113-key Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Mohali, Chandigarh. The opening expands the Welcomhotel portfolio and reinforces the brand’s footprint in the rapidly developing Tricity region comprising Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali.
The hotel is strategically located near Chandigarh International Airport and adjacent to CP67 Mall. The property operates under a management contract.

Strategic Expansion in a High-Growth Urban Market
The addition of Welcomhotel Mohali aligns with ITC Hotels’ focus on strengthening its presence in emerging commercial and lifestyle hubs. Mohali has evolved into a growing centre for IT, business, and residential development, positioning it as a key market within North India.

The hotel has been developed in association with Gujrals Restaurants and Hotels Limited. The collaboration marks another step in expanding ITC Hotels’ managed portfolio in key urban markets.

Dining Concepts and Recreational Facilities
Welcomhotel Mohali features multiple dining venues, including WelcomCafé and Swizzle, with Kebabs and Kurries scheduled to open shortly. The hotel also houses WelcomSthalika, which highlights regional cuisine such as Makki ki Roti, Sarson ka Saag, Butter Chicken, and Kadhai Paneer.
Recreational amenities include a swimming pool and fitness centre, with a spa expected to open in the near future.
With this launch, ITC Hotels continues to expand its Welcomhotel brand in strategic growth markets, adding capacity in the premium hospitality segment within the Tricity region.
