IHG® Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with DC Constructions, the construction arm of Urban Oasis Hospitality, to develop the Holiday Inn Express Siliguri Bagdogra Airport. The upcoming 100-key greenfield hotel is set to open in 2028, further strengthening IHG’s presence in Eastern India and enhancing the brand’s footprint across one of the country’s key travel and trade corridors.

Located just minutes from Bagdogra International Airport, the new Holiday Inn Express will cater to the growing number of business and transit travellers passing through Siliguri, a city that serves as a critical gateway to the Eastern Himalayas, North-East India, and the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. Its location positions the hotel as an ideal choice for travellers seeking modern, efficient, and value-driven accommodation in the region.

The upcoming property will join 17 operational Holiday Inn Express hotels in India, with 21 more in the development pipeline, reinforcing the brand’s position as a preferred choice for smart, modern travellers.
Currently, IHG® operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts®, Crowne Plaza®, voco™ Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort®, and Holiday Inn Express®.
