Hyatt Regency Chennai has announced the promotion of Lakshmi Nandagopal to Director of Human Resources, recognizing her exemplary leadership and contributions since joining the property in January 2023.
With over two decades of experience in people management and operations, Lakshmi is known for her strategic vision, empathetic leadership, and hands-on approach. During her tenure as Human Resources Manager, she successfully led initiatives in talent acquisition, workforce engagement, payroll management, and succession planning, strengthening the hotel’s HR framework.

Her previous experience spans leadership roles with Radisson Blu City Centre, Holiday Inn OMR IT Expressway (IHG Group), The Ascott Limited – Somerset Greenways Chennai, and Marriott International, where she drove large-scale recruitment drives and introduced impactful welfare programs.
In her new role, Lakshmi will focus on strategic workforce planning, leadership development, employee well-being, and building an inclusive workplace culture that empowers associates and positions Hyatt Regency Chennai as an employer of choice.
