The Westin Goa has announced the appointment of Goutham N J as its new Executive Housekeeper, reinforcing the resort’s focus on operational excellence, guest comfort, and the brand’s wellness-led service philosophy.
A Career Built on Pre-openings and Operational Depth
With 17 years of experience in hospitality and a decade-long association with Marriott International, Goutham brings a well-rounded operational perspective shaped by landmark hotel openings and cross-functional exposure. A native of Thrissur, Kerala, he began his hospitality journey as a Housekeeping Associate at ISTA Bangalore. Over the years, he has played key roles in prestigious pre-opening projects including ISTA Pune, JW Marriott Bengaluru (UB City) and Kochi Marriott Hotel.
His professional journey also includes a valuable assignment in retail operations as Assistant Operations Manager at LULU Mall Kochi, before returning to hospitality with Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport and Port Muziris, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. This diverse exposure has strengthened his understanding of large-scale operations, service quality, and guest engagement.

In his new role, Goutham will lead the resort’s housekeeping operations, with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and guest-centric service delivery. He will oversee cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space reflects Westin’s standards of comfort, wellness, and refinement. His leadership is expected to play a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat visitation.
