Glenmorangie has concluded Casks & Conversations, an exclusive whisky tasting series held across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Delhi, celebrating the launch of Glenmorangie The Lasanta 15 Years Old in India.
Hosted in collaboration with The Dram Club, the curated events brought together whisky enthusiasts, collectors, and industry tastemakers for an immersive exploration of Glenmorangie and Ardbeg’s acclaimed single malt expressions.
Four-City Whisky Experience
The tasting series was led by David Blackmore, Global Brand Ambassador and Ambassador Team Lead for Glenmorangie & Ardbeg, who guided guests through the craftsmanship, cask maturation techniques, and heritage behind the distilleries’ celebrated whiskies.
A Certified Whisky Professional and three-time recipient of the Scotch Whisky Ambassador of the Year recognition, Blackmore shared insights drawn from his experience with The Glenmorangie Company’s Whisky Creation Team and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Guests sampled a curated portfolio comprising Glenmorangie The Original 12 Years Old, Glenmorangie The Lasanta 15 Years Old, Glenmorangie Infinita 18 Years Old, and Ardbeg Ten Years Old, accompanied by tasting notes and storytelling on whisky creation and maturation.
Spotlight on The Lasanta 15 Years Old
At the centre of the experience was Glenmorangie The Lasanta 15 Years Old, the latest addition to the brand’s age-led portfolio in India.
Matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the single malt offers layers of raisins, honey, toffee, clove, and subtle cinnamon, reflecting Glenmorangie’s expertise in cask maturation.
The launch completes the brand’s premium portfolio in India, alongside The Original 12 Years Old and Infinita 18 Years Old, giving consumers a broader journey through Glenmorangie’s signature smooth, elegant, and fruit-forward whisky style.
Celebrating Glenmorangie and Ardbeg Expressions
The tasting also highlighted Glenmorangie The Original 12 Years Old, which features two additional years of maturation compared to its predecessor, delivering enhanced notes of orange, honey, vanilla, and peach. The expression received a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2024.
Guests also explored Glenmorangie Infinita 18 Years Old, matured primarily in American oak bourbon casks with a portion finished in Oloroso sherry casks, offering flavours of caramelised citrus, jasmine, honey, and gentle spice.
The experience concluded with Ardbeg Ten Years Old, showcasing the distillery’s signature Islay character through notes of peat smoke, citrus zest, dark chocolate, and maritime minerality.
Through Casks & Conversations, Glenmorangie reinforced its commitment to engaging India’s growing community of single malt enthusiasts by combining exceptional whiskies with expert-led education and immersive storytelling.
