FARRO, Pune’s sought-after elevated dining destination, has announced its Winter Table 2025 menu, set to debut from 16 December 2025. Designed to reflect the warmth and nostalgia associated with the winter season, the new menu brings together comforting flavours, celebratory dishes and thoughtfully crafted cocktails that mirror the spirit of year-end gatherings.
Winter Table 2025 draws from FARRO’s belief that food is deeply personal. The menu is shaped by the team’s shared memories, family traditions and festive rituals, reinterpreted through the restaurant’s contemporary lens. Each dish reflects a “once-a-year” tradition, carefully adapted using modern techniques while retaining its emotional core.
Culinary Inspiration From Across India
The Winter Table menu draws inspiration from diverse regions including Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Malabar. These influences come together as a cohesive narrative of home kitchens, holiday feasts and recipes passed down through generations. Rather than presenting regional food in a literal form, FARRO reimagines these traditions with restraint and refinement, creating plates that feel familiar yet distinctly modern.

Chef Vardaan Marwah’s Seasonal Approach
Under the guidance of Chef Vardaan Marwah, Winter Table 2025 balances quiet sophistication with soulful comfort. Chef Marwah’s approach centres on seasonality and craft, allowing winter ingredients to express themselves fully without excess. The menu focuses on warmth, depth and texture, offering dishes that feel reassuring while remaining inventive.
Each creation is designed to invite guests into a slower, more intimate dining experience, one that aligns with FARRO’s identity as a space for connection and celebration.
Signature Dishes That Tell Personal Stories

At the heart of the Winter Table menu are signature dishes inspired by cherished family traditions.
Suresh Uncle’s Roast Duck is inspired by the Christmas kitchen of Restaurant Manager Shilin’s family in Kerala. Slow-cooked duck, seasoned with traditional spices, is served on soft milk bread and finished with a bright apricot–orange chutney.
Gongura Mutton draws from Andhra festive cooking traditions. The classic curry is reworked into a spicy, sticky snack, tossed with pickled chillies and balanced by a light, cooling daddojanam-inspired foam.
Christmas Roast pays tribute to Goan and Catholic holiday tables. A king oyster mushroom steak is paired with velvety potato purée, spiced mushroom vindaloo and warm poee.
Malabar Biryani takes inspiration from Malabar homes, featuring tender jackfruit accompanied by a punchy date pickle that balances spice with sweetness.
Farro’s Fruitcake offers a playful take on Goan and Anglo-Indian baking. Rum-soaked cake is served with ginger ice cream and citrus marshmallow, finished with a festive tableside flambé.

Cocktails Crafted for Winter
Complementing the food is a cocktail menu designed to echo the warmth of the season. The Eggnog Float combines cacao nib–infused whisky with sour cherry gelato, nutmeg, pasteurised egg and cream. The Gingerbread Highball blends vodka with gingerbread, grapefruit and basil. Persian Mulled Wine features red wine layered with pomegranate molasses, marigold honey and warming spices. The Dirty Chai brings together vanilla-washed tequila, cold brew, jaggery caramel and a warm chai foam, rounding out the winter offerings.
