Fairfield by Marriott Goa Benaulim has announced the appointment of Vandana Joshi as the hotel’s new Rooms Division Manager. With over 17 years of diverse experience in hospitality operations, Joshi brings a wealth of expertise to the property’s leadership team.
Her hospitality journey began at Hyatt Regency Bengaluru, followed by pivotal roles during the pre-openings of Hyatt Amritsar and Hyatt Pune. She also honed her skills in rooms management and operations at the iconic The Lodhi, before starting her long-standing chapter with Marriott.
As part of Marriott International’s South Asia team, she served at Courtyard Chennai and played a key role in the pre-opening of Marriott Navi Mumbai as a Rooms Trainer—solid foundations that underpin her leadership capabilities.
For the past decade, Vandana has been with Marriott International in South Asia, most recently serving as Assistant Manager Operations. In this capacity, she led several regional initiatives focusing on sustainability and loyalty programmes, working across both managed and franchise properties. These critical projects reflect her strategic strengths and versatility in driving organizational priorities.

Stepping into her new role at Fairfield by Marriott Goa Benaulim, Vandana will leverage her extensive rooms operations and management knowledge to elevate service quality, streamline operational processes, and craft memorable guest experiences. She is also expected to strengthen associate engagement, fostering a people-first culture—a principle she truly values, believing that “happy teams translate into happier guests.”
