Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, a Hyatt hotel, has appointed Tarun Seth as General Manager, bringing more than two decades of hospitality experience to the role. His career includes leadership positions with Hyatt, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Taj Hotels, with experience spanning hotel operations, commercial management and strategic repositioning.
In his new position, Seth will oversee the hotel’s overall operations, with a focus on commercial performance, talent development and guest experience. He joins the Abu Dhabi property after serving as General Manager of Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, where he was involved in the hotel’s pre-opening and operational development.
The addition highlights Taj’s leadership focus, aligning with leadership appointments in hospitality.
To Lead Hotel Operations and Performance
As General Manager, Seth will be responsible for the overall performance of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, covering operational priorities as well as commercial outcomes. His mandate will include working with the hotel team to strengthen performance, develop talent and maintain a strong focus on guest experience.
His previous leadership experience in hotel operations and strategic repositioning provides a foundation for his new assignment, particularly as the property continues to position itself within Abu Dhabi’s competitive luxury hospitality market.

Seth brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having built his career across some of India’s leading hotel companies and international hospitality operations.
Most recently, he served as General Manager of Grand Hyatt Gurgaon. During his tenure, he was involved in the property’s pre-opening and operational development, gaining experience across the different stages of establishing and managing a large-scale hotel operation.
