Alila Diwa Goa has appointed Takshila Chheda as Area Director – Digital Marketing, expanding her leadership responsibilities within Hyatt Hotels as the company continues to strengthen its digital and commercial strategy across key markets in India.
Prior to this appointment, Chheda led digital marketing for North, East, and West India at Hyatt Hotels. In her expanded role, she will now oversee digital marketing for the Goa and Pune markets, in addition to West and Central India.

As Area Director – Digital Marketing, Chheda will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital and performance marketing strategies across Hyatt’s portfolio. Her role will focus on enhancing online visibility, strengthening brand positioning, driving customer engagement, and delivering measurable business growth through data-driven marketing initiatives.
She will also lead initiatives across digital media, social platforms, brand communications, and performance marketing to support Hyatt’s commercial objectives in the region.
Diverse Marketing Experience
Takshila brings a strong and diverse background in digital marketing, brand strategy, and corporate communications.
Before joining Hyatt Hotels, she served as Digital Marketing Strategist at Jio World Centre, Reliance Industries, where she played a key role in the successful launch and digital promotion of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
She also held the position of Senior Manager – Digital Marketing at Tata Motors, contributing to the company’s digital campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and brand visibility across multiple platforms.
Earlier in her career, Chheda gained extensive experience working with leading communications agencies and hospitality brands, building expertise in integrated marketing, public relations, and digital strategy.
Strong Academic Foundation
Takshila holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Corporate Communications & Reputation Management from Manchester Business School, UK, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media (Advertising) from Mumbai University.
Her academic background, combined with her experience across hospitality, automotive, and corporate sectors, supports her strategic approach to brand building and digital transformation.
The appointment reflects Hyatt Hotels’ continued focus on strengthening its digital leadership while driving brand growth and commercial performance across its expanding portfolio in India.
