Tea Positioned as a Base for Modern Mixology
Zero Proof by Makaibari will reimagine tea as a refined base for alcohol-free beverages. Drawing on Makaibari’s legacy of organic and biodynamic cultivation, the collection is crafted to deliver structure, complexity and character—attributes typically associated with classic spirits.
The showcase will reflect changing consumption patterns, where non-alcoholic options are designed with the same technical precision as traditional bar ingredients.
Yangdup Lama and Niladri Sarkar to Curate Special Menu
At the show, mixologists Yangdup Lama and Niladri Sarkar will curate an exclusive menu of cocktails and mocktails built around the Zero Proof range. Their presentations will demonstrate how tea, when handled with intent and accuracy, can anchor contemporary beverage programs with depth and balance.
The live creations will highlight the versatility of tea across flavour-forward bar concepts.
Gagan Gurung to Lead Educational Session
Gagan Gurung will host a dedicated session exploring the craft of integrating tea into mixology. The discussion will examine flavour layering, extraction methods and the technical balance required to translate fine tea into compelling beverage formats.
The session is designed for hospitality professionals and beverage enthusiasts, positioning tea as a serious and adaptable ingredient within modern bar environments.
