Trance International Hotels & Resorts has elevated Suryaveer Singh to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a new leadership phase for the hospitality management company. The appointment was announced by Veer Vijay Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, Trance International Hotels & Resorts.
Suryaveer has been associated with Trance Hotels for 11 years and has worked across hotel operations, business development and commercial functions. In his new position, he will lead the company’s business strategy, operations and expansion, with responsibility for its seven-hotel portfolio.
The addition reflects the hospitality sector’s leadership priorities, aligning with hospitality leadership updates.
To Lead Business Strategy and Expansion
As CEO, Suryaveer will oversee Trance Hotels’ overall business strategy and operational direction. His responsibilities will include strengthening the brand, maintaining guest experience and operational standards, and supporting the company’s expansion as a hospitality management company in India.
He will also work across the portfolio to align operational processes and commercial initiatives with the company’s broader business objectives.
11 Years with Trance Hotels
Suryaveer has spent the past 11 years with Trance Hotels, gaining experience across several functions within the organisation.
During his tenure, he has been involved in establishing and strengthening systems across the hotel portfolio. His responsibilities have included hotel operations, online travel agencies, websites, distribution channels, revenue initiatives and operational processes.
This combination of operational and commercial exposure has given him experience across different aspects of hotel management and business development.
Hospitality Education and International Training
Suryaveer is a graduate of École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and is also a qualified Wine Sommelier.
His professional development includes training with Four Seasons Hotels in Beverly Hills, Bangkok and Bali, providing exposure to international hospitality operating standards.
His education and international training have complemented his experience across hotel operations and commercial functions during his career with Trance Hotels.
Strengthening the Seven-Hotel Portfolio
In his new role, Suryaveer will focus on the strategic growth of Trance Hotels’ seven-hotel portfolio.
His priorities will include maintaining consistent guest experience and operational standards while identifying opportunities to strengthen the company’s business and expand its presence in the Indian hospitality market.
His experience with distribution, revenue initiatives, OTAs and operational systems will also support the company’s continued development as a hospitality management platform.
