Raffles Udaipur has appointed Shri Raj Goswami as its new Director of Food & Beverage, bringing over 12 years of international luxury hospitality expertise to the resort’s acclaimed culinary program. Known for his refined palate, global perspective, and storytelling approach to gastronomy, Goswami will spearhead operations across the property’s nine restaurants and bars, as well as its renowned banqueting and event spaces.
In this leadership role, he will be tasked with enhancing the resort’s signature dining experiences, integrating innovation with tradition, and further strengthening Raffles Udaipur’s reputation as a destination for exceptional culinary journeys.
Before joining Raffles Udaipur, Goswami was the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, where he oversaw six restaurants and bars, in-room dining services, and large-scale banquet operations. His career path also includes key positions at The Four Seasons in Maldives and Bahrain, The Oberoi in Agra, and Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur—each contributing to his nuanced understanding of diverse cuisines and guest preferences.
A certified sommelier with qualifications from both the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Goswami is recognised for blending technical expertise with a passion for cultural storytelling through food and beverage.
