Sijo John brings over 15 years of hospitality finance experience, including more than 13 years within Marriott International, with expertise spanning budgeting, forecasting, financial governance, P&L management, cash flow optimisation, CapEx planning, audit readiness, and strategic business planning.
In his new role, Sijo John will lead the hotel’s financial operations, overseeing budgeting, compliance, strategic planning, financial governance, and commercial performance alignment to support operational excellence and sustainable business growth.

More Than 15 Years in Hospitality Finance
Sijo John brings more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience, with a significant part of his career spent within the Marriott ecosystem.
Most recently, he served as Director of Finance at JW Marriott Bengaluru, where he led overall financial strategy in alignment with ownership expectations and brand performance objectives.
Prior to that, he held leadership roles including Financial Controller and Assistant Financial Controller at JW Marriott Bengaluru.
His earlier experience includes Assistant Financial Controller at Fairfield by Marriott Whitefield, Finance Manager roles at Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru, and Finance Executive at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport.
His international hospitality exposure also includes experience as Accountant at Zitahli Resorts & Spa in the Maldives.
Earlier career roles also included assignments with Dream Hotel Cochin and Birla Public School.

Sijo John holds an MBA from ICFAI University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Aloysius College, Edathuva.
His professional expertise includes budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, working capital optimisation, compliance, CapEx planning, strategic financial governance, and commercial performance management.
