Ramada by Wyndham Ghaziabad Vasundhara has appointed Nirmal Singh as Assistant Revenue Manager, bringing experience across hotel operations, reservations, revenue management, inventory control, yield strategy and distribution.
Singh began his hospitality career in front-office operations with Ginger Hotels before moving into reservations with Marriott International. He subsequently gained experience with Justa Hotels & Resorts and RedSKY Hospitality, developing expertise across inventory management, guest upselling, revenue strategy and commercial functions.
The move supports the hospitality sector’s growth, contributing to hospitality leadership updates.
Nirmal Singh to Support Revenue Management
In his new role, Singh will support the revenue management function at Ramada by Wyndham Ghaziabad Vasundhara. His responsibilities will include pricing, inventory control, yield strategy, distribution and revenue optimisation.
His career across operational and commercial functions has provided exposure to different stages of the hotel revenue cycle. This includes direct guest interactions, reservations, inventory management, pricing decisions and distribution.
The combination of operational and revenue experience will form part of his approach to managing commercial performance at the property.
Career Began with Ginger Hotels
Singh began his hospitality career in front-office operations with Ginger Hotels.
His early experience provided exposure to guest-facing hotel operations and the day-to-day requirements of managing front-office functions. This foundation later supported his transition into reservations and, subsequently, revenue management.
Moving from operations into commercial functions allowed Singh to develop an understanding of the relationship between guest demand, room availability and hotel revenue.
Reservations Experience with Marriott International
Following his front-office experience, Singh moved into reservations with Marriott International.
His responsibilities in reservations added another component to his understanding of hotel demand and room inventory. Working within reservations also provided experience in managing booking-related processes and guest requirements.
This stage of his career preceded his move into broader inventory and revenue-related responsibilities.
Experience with Justa Hotels & Resorts
Singh later joined Justa Hotels & Resorts, where his responsibilities included inventory control and guest upselling.
The role provided experience in managing room inventory while also identifying opportunities to increase guest spend. His exposure to inventory management became an important part of his progression towards specialised revenue management.
The combination of inventory control and upselling gave him experience in connecting operational interactions with commercial outcomes.
Move into Revenue Management
Singh subsequently moved into specialised revenue management with RedSKY Hospitality.
At RedSKY Hospitality, he gained experience in revenue strategy and related commercial functions. This expanded his responsibilities from operational and reservations-focused activities to areas directly connected with hotel pricing, demand and commercial performance.
His progression through front office, reservations, inventory and revenue management has given him exposure to multiple elements of the hotel commercial cycle.
Remank Goel on the Appointment
Commenting on the appointment, Remank Goel, Hotel Manager, Ramada by Wyndham Ghaziabad Vasundhara, said:
“Revenue management is often seen as a numbers function, but good revenue decisions begin with understanding people. Nirmal brings that understanding to the role. Having worked across operations and revenue, he understands that a pricing decision doesn’t sit in isolation; it affects the entire hotel. We look forward to having him strengthen that connection as we continue to grow the business.”
Focus on Pricing and Commercial Performance
At Ramada by Wyndham Ghaziabad Vasundhara, Singh will support revenue management activities covering pricing, inventory control, yield strategy, distribution and revenue optimisation.
His career progression from front-office operations and reservations into inventory and specialised revenue management has provided experience across both guest-facing and commercial functions.
The appointment adds revenue management experience to the property’s team, with Singh’s new responsibilities focused on supporting pricing and inventory decisions and contributing to the hotel’s broader commercial performance.
