Rahul Patel has been appointed as Chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) for the 2026–2027 term. Rahul Patel assumed the role at the conclusion of AAHOACON26 held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Rahul Patel Takes Leadership of AAHOA for 2026–2027
Rahul Patel will lead AAHOA during the 2026–2027 term with a focus on strengthening member engagement and reinforcing the association’s foundation. Rahul Patel has outlined his theme for the term as “Strong Roots, Stronger AAHOA.”
The leadership agenda includes improving member profitability and strengthening the organisation’s long-term framework.
Rahul Patel Sets Key Priorities for AAHOA Members
Rahul Patel will focus on addressing insurance-related challenges and expanding educational initiatives. Rahul Patel will also work on advocating for balanced franchise relationships across the hospitality sector.
The role includes ensuring that member-focused resources deliver measurable value.
Rahul Patel’s Leadership Journey Within AAHOA
Rahul Patel began his leadership journey within AAHOA as Secretary in 2023. Rahul Patel has since progressed through leadership roles to assume the position of Chairman.
His appointment reflects continuity in leadership within the association.
Dhiren Masters Appointed as Secretary for 2026–2027
Dhiren Masters has been appointed as Secretary for the 2026–2027 term. Dhiren Masters brings nine years of leadership experience within AAHOA, including six years on the board of directors.
His experience includes serving as North Texas Regional Director and contributing to multiple AAHOA committees.

AAHOA Announces Board for 2026–2027 Term
AAHOA also announced its board of directors for the 2026–2027 term. The board includes 11 members across regional and leadership roles along with three industry partners representing JPMorgan Chase & Co., Anand Systems Inc., and Gauthier Murphy & Houghtaling LLC.
