Oryn by Celebrity Resorts, Shamirpet has appointed Teja Chand Pendyala as Pre-Opening General Manager, marking a key leadership appointment as the brand prepares to launch its new resort vertical.
Pendyala joined the organisation on June 10, 2026, and will lead the resort through its pre-opening phase, overseeing operational planning, team building, and property readiness.

In his new role, Teja Chand Pendyala will oversee all pre-opening activities, including operational planning, recruitment, training, standard operating procedures, and the overall setup of the property.
He will also be responsible for establishing operational frameworks and supporting the successful launch of Oryn by Celebrity Resorts, ensuring the resort is positioned for long-term operational success.
Extensive Hospitality Leadership Experience
Pendyala brings extensive experience across hospitality operations, luxury resorts, guest services, and hotel management.
Prior to joining Oryn by Celebrity Resorts, he served as General Manager at CtrlAltHeal, Hyderabad, where he led operations, sales strategy, and team development.
Earlier, he worked with FIVE Hotels & Resorts, Dubai, as Duty Manager and Night Manager, overseeing front office operations, guest relations, and revenue-related functions.
He also spent more than a decade with Atlantis Resorts, Dubai, where he held multiple leadership roles across VIP Services, Front Office Operations, and Guest Relations, managing luxury guest experiences, team coordination, and operational excellence.
His career further includes experience as Resort Operations Manager at Ridhira Retreat, along with earlier assignments at ITC Hotels and The Park Hotels, where he began building his hospitality expertise.
The appointment marks an important milestone for Oryn by Celebrity Resorts as it enters its launch phase under the Celebrity Resorts brand.
