90-key hotel near Navi Mumbai International Airport marks NILE Hospitality’s first signed property in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is scheduled to open in 2030
NILE Hospitality has signed its seventh Hampton by Hilton hotel in India, with a 90-key property planned near Navi Mumbai International Airport. The signing marks the company’s first hotel agreement in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and extends its partnership with Hilton into one of the country’s emerging commercial and transit hubs.
The development is part of NILE Hospitality’s wider expansion of Hampton by Hilton properties across India. The latest signing adds to a strategic licensing agreement with Hilton covering the development of 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels in the country and takes the partnership into a new market.
Seventh Hampton by Hilton Property for NILE
The Navi Mumbai hotel will become the seventh Hampton by Hilton property under development by NILE Hospitality. The 90-key hotel is expected to open in 2030 and will extend the company’s presence into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
For NILE Hospitality, the signing represents a new market entry while continuing its focus on developing the Hampton by Hilton brand across India. The company has been developing properties under the brand since entering into its licensing agreement with Hilton.
The latest project adds Navi Mumbai to the locations where NILE Hospitality is building its Hampton portfolio.
Expanding Partnership with Hilton
The signing builds on a strategic licensing agreement between NILE Hospitality and Hilton to develop 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels across India. The agreement also represents the brand’s expansion into India’s upper-midscale hospitality segment.
Hampton by Hilton currently has more than 3,100 hotels and over 357,000 rooms across 46 countries and territories. The brand also has a development pipeline of more than 775 additional properties.
Through its partnership with Hilton, NILE Hospitality has been working to develop Hampton by Hilton properties across different Indian markets. The Navi Mumbai signing represents the latest addition to this expansion programme.
Navi Mumbai Gains Another Hospitality Development
The hotel’s location near Navi Mumbai International Airport places it within an emerging business and connectivity hub. Demand in the area is being supported by the airport, expanding commercial and industrial corridors and corporate and leisure travel across the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The development is therefore positioned to serve travellers using the airport as well as guests travelling for business and leisure within Navi Mumbai and the wider metropolitan area.
As airport infrastructure and surrounding commercial activity continue to develop, the signing adds another branded hospitality project to the region’s growing accommodation landscape.
NILE Hospitality Makes Mumbai Market Debut
The Navi Mumbai project marks NILE Hospitality’s first signed hotel in the Mumbai market. Its scheduled 2030 opening will bring Hampton by Hilton’s upper-midscale positioning to a market that combines airport, corporate, commercial and leisure demand.
The project also expands NILE Hospitality’s geographic footprint under its Hilton partnership while maintaining the company’s focus on the Hampton brand.
For the company, the signing combines a new regional market entry with the continued expansion of its existing hotel development strategy.
