Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Nils-Arne Schroeder as Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its global executive leadership team as the company continues to expand its international portfolio. Based at the group’s headquarters in Hong Kong, Schroeder will oversee operations across more than 30 hotels and residences while supporting the development of over 20 properties currently in the pipeline.
The appointment comes as Langham Hospitality Group advances its global growth strategy, with Schroeder bringing more than three decades of international hospitality leadership experience across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His expertise in luxury hotel operations and multi-market leadership is expected to support the group’s operational excellence and future expansion.
To Oversee Global Hotel Operations
As Chief Operating Officer, Schroeder will be responsible for leading operational performance across Langham Hospitality Group’s worldwide portfolio of hotels and branded residences. His role includes driving operational standards, strengthening commercial performance, enhancing guest experiences and supporting the successful integration of new properties into the group’s portfolio.
He will also oversee the opening and operational readiness of more than 20 hotels and residences currently under development, working closely with regional leadership teams to ensure consistency across the company’s brands while supporting long-term business growth.
Brings More Than 30 Years of Global Hospitality Leadership
Schroeder joins Langham Hospitality Group with more than 30 years of hospitality experience spanning multiple international markets and luxury hotel brands.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Europe and Africa at Raffles and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw hotel operations across the region, focusing on operational performance, service standards and business growth.
Earlier in his career, Schroeder held several senior regional and global leadership positions with Hilton and Conrad Hotels & Resorts. Across these roles, he gained extensive experience in hotel operations, commercial strategy, organisational leadership and portfolio management while working across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
His international experience across diverse markets and hospitality segments provides a strong foundation for leading Langham Hospitality Group’s expanding global operations.
