ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) has signed a management agreement for a 65-key hotel under the Storii by ITC Hotels brand in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The signing expands the company’s presence in one of North India’s established leisure destinations and supports its strategy of taking the Storii brand to distinctive locations across the country.

Located near the Kempty Falls area, the upcoming hotel will offer views of the Siwalik ranges and road connectivity from Dehradun, Rishikesh and Haridwar. Set within the hills, the property will combine contemporary comforts with a design approach intended to complement its natural surroundings.

This signing reflects ITC’s strategic push into new markets, contributing to latest hotel signings.

Storii by ITC Hotels to add 65 keys in Mussoorie

The new property will feature 65 keys and is being positioned as a leisure-oriented retreat. Its location near Kempty Falls will provide access to one of Mussoorie’s well-known visitor areas while placing the hotel within the wider mountain landscape.

The development is aimed at leisure travellers, families and guests seeking a restorative mountain stay, with the property planned around the character of its location and the growing demand for nature-led experiences.

    Dining and wellness facilities planned

The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, providing multiple food and beverage options for guests during their stay.

Wellness facilities will also form part of the property, complementing its positioning as a relaxed mountain retreat. The combination of dining, wellness and accommodation is designed to support longer leisure stays and travellers seeking a break from urban environments.

    Mussoorie remains a leisure market

Mussoorie has long attracted travellers from across India as well as international visitors. Its natural setting, pleasant climate and accessibility have supported demand for leisure stays, celebrations, wellness experiences and mountain escapes.

The destination’s growing appeal among travellers seeking experiential and nature-led stays provides a market for hospitality projects that integrate accommodation with the surrounding landscape.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said:

“India’s travel landscape is evolving towards experiences that are more meaningful, personal and rooted in the character of a destination. Mussoorie, with its enduring charm, natural beauty and rich sense of place, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of travellers. The signing of Storii by ITC Hotels Mussoorie is in keeping with our vision to take the Storii philosophy of discovery, authenticity and immersive hospitality to distinctive destinations across the country.”

    Storii expands destination-led hospitality

The Mussoorie signing reflects Storii by ITC Hotels’ approach of developing properties around the character and identity of individual destinations. The brand focuses on experiences that connect guests with local culture, heritage and surroundings while providing contemporary hospitality.

The addition of the Mussoorie property further expands ITCHL’s presence in Uttarakhand and strengthens Storii’s presence in a destination known for leisure and nature-based travel.

The 65-key hotel will combine accommodation with dining, lounge and wellness facilities, offering a contemporary hospitality experience near the Kempty Falls area. Its connectivity from Dehradun, Rishikesh and Haridwar also supports access to the property from key centres in the region.
