Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed a SeleQtions hotel in Digha, West Bengal. The project will be developed as a greenfield property.
New SeleQtions hotel planned in Digha
The upcoming IHCL SeleQtions Digha will feature 56 keys and is positioned to cater to both leisure and emerging travel segments in the region. The signing strengthens IHCL’s expansion into coastal destinations with growing tourism demand.
The project is being developed in partnership with Ambuja Neotia Group.

Location and destination context
Digha, located along the Bay of Bengal, is a well-established beach destination in Eastern India. Known for its wide shoreline and accessibility, the destination attracts visitors across leisure and short-stay segments.
The area also offers attractions such as New and Old Digha beaches, Talsari Beach, Digha Science Centre, Marine Aquarium & Regional Centre and Amarabati Park, supporting year-round visitor activity.

Project features and facilities
The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant and a bar. It will also offer meeting and event spaces designed to support social gatherings and corporate requirements.
Recreational facilities at the property will include a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, supporting both leisure and wellness requirements.
Portfolio expansion in West Bengal
With this signing, IHCL will have a total of 17 hotels in West Bengal, including nine currently under development.
