Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a 122-key Gateway hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan, marking another expansion for the brand in the state. The brownfield project is being developed in partnership with Lords India Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and will operate under the Gateway brand.
Set within the Aravalli hills, Gateway Alwar will offer views of the surrounding landscape and cater to leisure travellers seeking nature, wildlife and heritage experiences. The property will also include facilities for dining, wellness, weddings and social events.

The 122-key Gateway Alwar will offer accommodation set against the backdrop of the Aravalli hills. The hotel will include an all-day diner, specialty restaurant and bar, providing multiple dining options for guests.
The property will also feature a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, adding wellness and recreational facilities to its hospitality offering.
Banqueting and Meeting Facilities
Gateway Alwar is being developed with facilities for weddings, social gatherings and meetings. The hotel will have more than 9,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space along with versatile meeting rooms.
The event infrastructure will allow the property to address both leisure and social requirements, while its location in Alwar is expected to support destination-oriented travel from the wider NCR market.
IHCL Expands into Alwar

The development adds Alwar to IHCL’s growing presence across Rajasthan and extends the Gateway brand into another destination combining heritage and nature-based tourism.
Partnership with Lords India Entertainment

The partnership will bring the Gateway brand to Alwar through a brownfield development, adding accommodation and hospitality facilities to the destination.
Alwar’s Heritage and Wildlife Appeal
Alwar is known for its historic landmarks and traditional heritage, including Bala Quila, also known as Alwar Fort, and the City Palace. The destination also provides access to natural attractions such as Sariska Tiger Reserve and Siliserh Lake.
With the addition of Gateway Alwar, IHCL will have 74 hotels in Rajasthan, including 32 under development. The signing further strengthens the company’s footprint in the state while adding a new Gateway property to its portfolio.
