IHCL strengthens airport portfolio with 200-key Ginger Mumbai Airport T2
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel at Terminal 2 of Mumbai International Airport. The signing adds to Ginger’s growing airport-led expansion and gives the brand a presence at both terminals of one of the country’s busiest aviation hubs.

Strategic location at a high-traffic gateway
Mumbai International Airport continues to see rising passenger volumes, and Terminal 2 remains a critical gateway for both domestic and international travellers. The new Ginger Mumbai Airport T2 is being developed as part of a mixed-use project combining retail, commercial and hospitality components, aimed at offering guests convenience and ease of access.

Hotel features and positioning
The 200-key Ginger Mumbai Airport T2 will be designed to serve business and leisure travellers looking for smart, efficient stays close to the airport. The hotel will feature Qmin, Ginger’s signature all-day dining restaurant, a bar, meeting rooms and a fully equipped fitness centre. The positioning focuses on short-stay convenience, reliable service and functional comfort for transit guests.
Partnership with Hazoor Multiprojects
The project is being developed in partnership with Hazoor Multiprojects Private Limited.

Expanding IHCL’s Mumbai presence
With this signing, IHCL will operate 14 hotels in Mumbai city, including two under development. The addition supports the company’s long-term focus on airport hotels and strengthens Ginger’s positioning across major transit markets in India.
