Grand Mercure Bangalore has appointed Nimesh Pandav as Rooms Division Manager. With more than 13 years of hospitality experience across India and the Maldives, Pandav brings a background in rooms operations and front office management to the role.
Prior to joining Grand Mercure Bangalore, Pandav served as Front Office Manager at Sofitel Mumbai BKC. His career also includes roles at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa and Mercure Maldives Kooddoo, giving him experience across different hotel environments and international hospitality operations.

Leading Rooms Division Operations
In his new role, Pandav will oversee the Rooms Division at Grand Mercure Bangalore, with responsibility for front-of-house operations and service delivery.
His remit includes maintaining service standards, improving operational efficiency and supporting the development of front-of-house teams. He will also work with the hotel’s management team to coordinate day-to-day guest services and ensure consistency across the guest journey.

Experience in Front Office Management
Pandav’s most recent position was Front Office Manager at Sofitel Mumbai BKC. The role provided experience in managing front office operations within a luxury hospitality environment, including the coordination of guest-facing services and front-of-house teams.
His career has also included assignments at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa and Mercure Maldives Kooddoo. His experience across these properties has given him exposure to different operating environments and guest profiles.
Working across India and the Maldives has further added an international dimension to his rooms operations experience.
Focus on Service Standards and Efficiency
At Grand Mercure Bangalore, Pandav will focus on strengthening service standards and operational efficiency across the Rooms Division.
His responsibilities will include working with front-of-house teams to maintain service consistency while identifying opportunities to improve operational processes.
