Mandate to Oversee Financial Planning and Compliance
As Director of Finance, Siddhartha Mehendale will oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, procurement oversight, compliance management and strategic resource optimisation. His role includes ensuring disciplined financial governance that supports the palace’s vision of delivering consistent guest experiences and long-term value creation.
The position places Siddhartha Mehendale at the centre of financial stewardship, aligning fiscal strategy with operational performance objectives.
Over 25 Years of Multi-Market Experience
Siddhartha Mehendale has built a career spanning India, the Middle East and island destinations, with experience in profitability enhancement, governance frameworks and sustainable business growth.
Most recently, Siddhartha Mehendale served as Director of Finance at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences. In that capacity, he led long-term financial strategy, revenue optimisation initiatives, cost-efficiency measures and compliance systems, while mentoring a large finance team.
His earlier assignments include senior leadership roles within the Accor Group, including multi-property Director of Finance for Novotel and ibis Bengaluru, as well as positions at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and ibis Pune. His international exposure includes professional postings in Qatar, Maldives and Bahrain.
His expertise covers pre-opening financial structuring, CAPEX planning, audit management, contract renegotiations and implementation of global internal control systems.
