Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited (Club Mahindra) has promoted Utkarsh Raj to the position of Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Club Mahindra Chumbi Mountain Retreat, Pelling, following the successful completion of the company’s Housekeeping Management Trainee programme.
In his new role, Utkarsh will oversee housekeeping operations, cleanliness standards, guest room quality, team supervision, and administrative functions while supporting the resort’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Utkarsh joined Club Mahindra in July 2024 as a Housekeeping Management Trainee. During the structured training programme, he gained operational exposure across multiple Club Mahindra resorts, working through different phases of housekeeping management and developing expertise in resort operations.
His training journey included assignments at Club Mahindra Assonora Goa, Club Mahindra Tungi Lonavala, and culminated with his appointment at Club Mahindra Chumbi Mountain Retreat, Pelling.
Throughout the programme, he gained hands-on experience in housekeeping operations, property cleanliness, manpower management, guest room inspections, quality standards, and departmental administration.
New Role
As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Utkarsh will be responsible for maintaining housekeeping standards, supervising departmental operations, supporting team development, and ensuring a consistently high-quality guest experience across the resort.
His promotion reflects Club Mahindra’s continued focus on developing young hospitality professionals through structured leadership programmes and internal career progression.
